Tuesday, 6 January 2015 10:04 GMT

Third double of the year for Sykes, Savadori and Faccani prevail in the STK classes.

The second and last Italian event of the year for the eni FIM Superbike World Championship was again a game changer, with reigning Champion Tom Sykes dictating the pace throughout the weekend at the Misano World Circuit.

The Kawasaki Racing Team rider claimed Saturday’s Tissot-Superpole and was victorious in both race 1 and race 2, with teammate Loris Baz and Marco Melandri ending up twice second and third.

It was time for redemption for Jules Cluzel after missing the win twice in the previous two World Supersport rounds, while Italian riders Savadori and Faccani came out on top in the STK1000 and STK600 races, respectively.
